"It was one of life's most wonderful coincidences when I heard about Pavitra through a relative of mine. I thought furnishing an entire new house would be chaotic and a headache to execute, but working with Pavitra made it not only easy as a breeze but exciting as well. Not many designers would take a client's personal taste into consideration when planning a space, luckily I ended up with someone who does. I've met many interior designers but Pavitra's name always comes first to mind when friends or family ask me for a recommendation."

Paris "A perfect blend of Old & New"

I would advice anyone travelling to Paris to carefully plan their trip before they get there, with so much to see, five days was really not sufficient to do justice to this beautiful city. My husband did manage to capture some unusual images of Paris; I hope it is inspiration enough to make you travel.

As we drove from the airport to the city there was plenty of Graffiti to keep us amused. And as you might have guessed from my logo “I LOVE GRAFFITI” My first impression of Paris was definitely a great one!

You find these newspaper shops on almost every street and why not, its gorgeous! I loved the quirky aspect of Paris. Check out this sign for a Barbers Shop!

Streets of Paris- These colored doors definitely add some punch and relief to the detailed surroundings.

Enchanting Flea markets, something I missed as I was at the Maison and objet. The Flea markets are open only on the weekend so plan accordingly.

The "Arc de Triomphe" is a symbol of glory and pride!

Modern and classical coming together in harmony at the Musée du Louvre

Musée du Louvre- I was wondering why people stood in attention at the center of this stairwell, till they started moving upwards! Oh it is a lift!!!!

The magnificent Eiffel from an angle you may not have seen before.  Be sure to make your bookings online to visit the top of the Eiffel, which will spare you hours of waiting.

At dusk the sky surrounds the city in this wonderful cobalt blue color, no wonder everyone is so romantic in Paris!

Lessons learnt are the "laid back & take it as it comes" approach that me and my husband took doesn’t suit the Paris itinerary. There is so much I missed, that I will be planning my itinerary well in advance my next visit…….. till then my lovely Parisians…. STAY FUNKY!!
